However, the KwaZulu-Natal outfit will enter the new campaign under new management as they could not come to an agreement with Dladla over a new contract.
Statement:
Durban City Football Club can confirm that following a series of discussions, the Club and Head Coach Simo Dladla have been unable to reach an agreement on a new contract of employment for the Betway Premiership Season.
As such, Coach Dladla will not be continuing in his role with the Club going forward. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Coach Dladla for his efforts, professionalism and contribution during his time with Durban City FC. His efforts played a key role in the team’s progress and recent successes.
The Club will now begin the process of identifying a new Head Coach to lead the team into the upcoming season and will provide further updates in due course.
