Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly targeting one of FC Barcelona's star players.
Reports: Man Utd Ditch Ronaldo Interest Target Neymar
According to ESPN, the former Chelsea boss is keen on bringing Spain left back Jordi Alba to Old Trafford.
Mourinho is said to be looking for a replacement for England defender Luke Shaw, and apparently feels Alba could the perfect fit for his squad.
Shaw's lack of consistency saw him lose his place to Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind last season.
Alba is said to be unsure of his future in Spain, and is said to be keen on a new adventure.
The 28-year-old will be open to offers from the Red Devils, especially now they are in the UEFA Champions League next season.
The Old Trafford side are also keeping close tabs on Tottenham Hotspur star Danny Rose should things with Alba not work out as the transfer window unfolds.
