Zinedine Zidane has taken over from Santiago Solari on 11 March and will now lead the revamp of an ageing squad in the coming transfer window.
Chelsea's Eden Hazard is reportedly one of the club's main targets, with reports suggesting Real have already submitted a first offer for the Belgium star.
However, the Blues' transfer ban by FIFA might mean the Premier League side, who will not be able to sign any players in the next two windows, want to keep hold of their superstar.
As a consequence, Los Blancos are reportedly looking for a plan B to the 28-year-old, with Sky Sports believing they could turn their attention to West Ham United winger Felipe Anderson.
The Brazilian has impressed at the Hammers this season since joining the club for €38 million (R615 million) from Lazio and is part of the latest Brazil squad.

The report claims that West Ham could ask for €75 million (R1.2 billion) for the 25-year-old, who has scored nine goals and assisted in another five in 35 games in all competitions this season.
It remains to be seen whether Anderson is indeed in the plans of Zidane and Real.
