Dutch wonderkid Matthijs de Ligt's current coach has claimed the highly-rated defender has "zero chance" of staying at Ajax Amsterdam beyond this campaign and is poised for a move to one of two European giants.

Ajax captain and reigning Golden Boy De Ligt is said to have attracted interest from a number of top clubs in Europe over the past year, including the likes of FC Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester United.
With speculation regarding the 19-year-old's future on the rise, Ajax boss Erik ten Hag has seemingly confirmed what many are thinking, categorically stating that the teenage star will not be at the club in the new season, adding that he could join FC Barcelona or Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

"There is zero chance Matthijs de Ligt is staying at Ajax," Ten Hag told German newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung.
"There are so many clubs interested in him and he will leave this summer.
"But I don't know if he will join Barcelona or Bayern Munich."

De Ligt has made 47 appearances across all competitions for Ajax so far this season.
