Brazil Coach Responds To His Side's 'Disrespectful' Dance Celebrations

With Brazil's dancing goal celebrations against South Korea being labelled by some as "disrespectful", their head coach Tite has responded to the critics.

Wenger Aims Sly Dig At Germany After Shock World Cup Exit

On Monday night, the record World Cup winners secured a resounding 4-1 victory over South Korea to book their spot in the competition's final eight.

After Brazil's third wonderfully worked team goal, scorer Richarlison ran towards the bench and pointed to his coach as a circle began to form for the celebration.

The 61-year-old tactician, along with the rest of the Brazilian team, joined the Tottenham Hotspur forward in a dance as they all but secured victory in the first half of the encounter.

"They're very young and I always try to adapt a little bit to their language," Tite said after the match through an interpreter, as per ESPN.

"They have a language, which is of dancing.

"You have to learn how to do the moves. And the moves are very tight."

While the choreographed celebration was perhaps a display of camaraderie and togetherness, Tite did not want the dancing to be misconstrued as disrespectful towards his opponents.

"I have to be very careful," the Brazil boss added.

"There are people who are evil who will say that was disrespectful.

"Happiness for a goal scored, for the team, for the performance, for the result."

Eto'o Knees Man In Face After World Cup Match

The South American nation enjoyed an emphatic victory over their Asian counterparts on Monday night, and even had the luxury of bringing 34-year-old goalkeeper Weverton on for Liverpool's Alisson Becker.

This means that all 26 members of Brazil's squad at the showpiece in Qatar have now been used, seeing them become the first side in World Cup history to use as many as 26 players at a single tournament.
