Following the Selecao's round of 16 victory over South Korea, a match attended by Cameroon's football president, Eto'o was seen posing for pictures with fans as he made his way towards the exits.

Moments later, the former Barcelona and Inter Milan forward could be seen angrily approaching a man holding a camera, with people having to separate the African legend from the guy filming him.

In shocking filmed footage doing the rounds on social media, Eto'o is then seen kneeing the cameraman in the face, although it is unclear as to what sparked the altercation after Brazil's impressive last 16 win.

Eto'o is the president of the Cameroon Football Federation and is said to be a legacy ambassador for Qatar at the 2022 World Cup.

Last week, the Indomitable Lions chief saw his beloved Cameroon get knocked out of the tournament despite beating Brazil in their final match of the group stage.

La Opinion reports the ex-footballer was led away by security after reporters attempted to find out from what him what provoked him to attack the cameraman.
