While Trezeguet did miss a penalty in the first half, El Shenawy is a big reason Al Ahly managed to walk away with a point after pulling off some important saves.
According to Transfermrket statics, El Shenway has become the first goalkeeper to secure five clean sheets in the competition.
The Egyptian beat out Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer who also picked up his fifth Club World Cup clean sheet following Bayern Munich's big win over Auckland City on Sunday.
El Shenawy did receive some praise from Inter striker Luis Suarez for his big saves on the night.
"Al Ahly's goalkeeper made numerous saves and was the star of the match alongside our goalkeeper Oscar Ustari," the Uruguayan said, as per FIFA.
The Club of the Century will now turn focus to Thursday's clash against Palmeiras.
