Munetsi joined Wolves from French side Reims in the January transfer window and Pereira, who took over from Gary O'Neill in December, was quick to praise Munetsi's role in turning Jorgen Strand Larsen's form around, Express & Star reported.
"He's working a lot on the small things that make the difference, the technical things for a striker,” the Wolves boss is quoted as saying about Larsen.
He continued: "But now, almost all the time, we have a player close to him, and that player is Munetsi. In France, he played behind the striker, and he attacked the space a lot. The connection between them is a good one," Pereira added.
The Portuguese coach said Munetsi has helped Strand Larsen become a goal threat with his presence.
"I look at a video to prepare for the next game, and every time we cross a ball into the box, Munetsi is there to do the movement and open the space for Larsen," Pereira added.
According to another piece by Express & Star, Munetsi outlined what his team needed to do to build for next season after losing Matheus Cunha to Manchester United.
"Losing players like Cunha, will be tough; he brings creativity and energy. But Wolves can’t rely on one or two players," Munetsi said.
He added: "The system has to evolve, and everyone has to raise their game. Recruitment will be key. But more than that, our mindset has to shift; from survival to competing."
Additionally, the ex-Pirates star revealed he wants to take on a leadership role at Wolves going into next season.

"Personally, I want to be a leader on and off the pitch; to help the younger players settle, and also contribute more goals and assists," he added.
