Ever since Robert Lewandowski's departure for Barcelona at the beginning of the campaign, Kane has been the subject of much transfer speculation as far as the Bavarians are concerned.
The Bundesliga champions have been heavily linked with a move for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner as they look to fill the void left by the Polish forward.
According to the latest from SportBild, however, the German powerhouse has shifted its interest from the England international as they now consider the transfer near-impossible to complete.
The two-time treble winners are said to believe that signing a footballer like Kane from the Premier League could be a huge ask, considering that players do not usually move that way in the transfer market.
At the beginning of the season, Bayern did sign Sadio Mane from Liverpool for a relative low fee, but with a lot of English-born EPL players having made the move to the German top flight in the formative years of their careers and not in their primes, the club's chiefs have reportedly decided to no longer pursue the Spurs hitman.
Kane is also currently valued at about €90 million (R1.6 billion), according to Transfermarkt, a fee Bayern would deem too high for the 29-year-old.
