Arsenal and France legend Thierry Henry has explained why he believes Zinedine Zidane is not interested in taking the Manchester United job.
Zidane has been a free agent since leaving Los Blancos at the end of last season, but has been linked with the likes of United and Juventus.
However, Henry feels his former France teammate may be holding out on moving to Old Trafford as waits for the Les Bleus job to become vacant.
"Zidane going to United? I don't think he would be interested in that now," Henry told CBS Sports.
"Why? Because, in the back of my head, I'm thinking that maybe he's waiting for the national team job.
"I think he has that in the back of his mind.
"So I see it more, although I don't think (Mauricio) Pochettino will leave, but if Pochettino goes then the PSG job will be free for Zidane."
Reports in England suggest that former RB Leipzig manager Ralf Rangnick will take over at United on interim basis for the remainder of the season.
