Following reports that Manchester United stars Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku fell out after the Red Devils' latest match, the players themselves have responded to the rumour.
Did Mourinho Finally Address His Fallout With Pogba?
With United 3-2 up in the final minutes of their Premier League clash with Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday, a penalty was awarded to the home side. However, Pogba, whom many believe should have given the ball to Lukaku as the Belgian was on a hat-trick, missed from the spot.
After the match, Lukaku explained that he wanted Pogba to score, suggesting that he never asked to take the spot-kick, but it was later claimed by The Sun that, after the final whistle, the two players had a heated exchange in the dressing room over who should have assumed the responsibility.
Many other well-known publications ran with the story, and the Belgian has since taken to social media outlet Twitter to seemingly respond to what was written.
Pogba then also appeared to hit out at the rumours, taking to his Instagram Story to echo Lukaku's comment, writing: "When the hate don't work they start telling lies... Hahahahaha people are too funny, bro."

It is well-documented that Lukaku and Pogba are close friends, with the Frenchman believed to be one of the main reasons the forward signed for United in 2017.
