Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil, has revealed he advised one of his Germany teammates to join one of the Gunners' rivals ahead of the new season.

Manchester City acquired the services of Leroy Sane from Schalke, as Pep Guardiola continues to bolster his side ahead of the new season.
However, Ozil has now revealed what he told Sane ahead of his move to the Manchester-based outfit.
"Naturally, the Premier League was a topic we discussed several times," Ozil told Spox .
"I told Leroy that I regard it as the best league in the world and that young players can develop well there," Ozil told
"That is why I was happy for him when the transfer materialised. He will improve a lot under Pep Guardiola."

Sane will have to wait to make his City debut, as the 19-year-old is currently nursing a hamstring problem.
