The 31-year-old's nightmare return to Chelsea in 2021 has finally come to an end, after he spent the past two seasons on loan at Inter Milan and Roma.
Returning from his latest short-term spell ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, it was clear Lukaku would not be involved in Enzo Maresca's plans at Stamford Bridge.
In joining Napoli, Belgium's all-time record goalscorer will enter his third consecutive season in Italy at a different club.
