After Mohamed Salah secured his second English Premier League Player of the Season, we take a look at the other stars to have won the award twice.

The Egyptian King - as he is affectionately known in Liverpool, had one of his best seasons since joining the Reds in 2017, scoring 33 goals and adding 23 assists in all competitions.
He led Liverpool to their 20th English league title to move them level with long-time rivals Manchester United. Salah's form this season was enough for him to win the Premier League Player of the Season award.
According to the Premier League, only 26 players have won the prestigious award since it was introduced in 1994/95 and Salah joined an elite group of five players to have won the award twice.
Among the list includes Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, who became the first player to win the award twice, doing so in the 2003/04 and 2005/06 seasons.
Man United's Portuguese icon Cristiano Ronaldo was just the second player to win multiple awards and the first to do it in back-to-back seasons in 2006/07 and 2007/08, winning the Ballon D'Or in 2008 too.
Following the Egyptian's two-year contract extension, he will be looking to become the first player to win the award three times.
