Real Madrid have reportedly won the race to sign Bayern Munich superstar David Alaba on a free transfer.
According to Marca, the 28-year-old will join Los Blancos once his contract expires in June.
The defender could not agree on a new deal with the German giants, and will soon put pen-to-paper on a contract with the LaLiga giants.
His agent Pini Zahavi reportedly offered Alaba to several European top clubs, including FC Barcelona, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, but he favours LaLiga, with Real being able to match his wage demands.
Alaba has been with Bayern since a loan spell at TSG Hoffenheim in 2011, and has claimed two UEFA Champions League trophies, nine Bundesliga titles, six German Cups, 5 German Super Cups, two UEFA Super Cups and one FIFA Club World Cup.
He has made 405 appearances for the Bavarians, scoring 32 goals and assisting a further 49 strikes.
