Report: Ralf Rangnick urges Bundesliga star Not To join Manchester United

Former Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has seeminly told a Bundesliga star not to join the Red Devils.

Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic has been linked with a move to the Manchester outfit, who are looking to bolster their attack before the transfer window closes.

Sky Sports have reported that the Austrian striker wants to move to Old Trafford with one year left on his current deal.

The 25-year-old contributed with six goals and two assists in 15 Bundesliga appearances for Stuttgart last season.

Sky Germany have reported that Rangnick, who is now Austria's head coach, is urging the striker to remain with Stuttgart.

"It is important that Sasa remains injury-free this season and trains and plays at the highest possible level," Rangnick said.

"If he stays in Stuttgart this season it won't be detrimental to his development."

The Red Devils have been linked with Marko Arnautovic, Cody Gakpo, Alvaro Morata and Brentfor forward Ivan Toney, who they will face on Saturday evening.

United have already lost out on signing Benjamin Sesko who joined Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg this week.
