The legendary Ronaldo Nazario has named his winner for this year's Ballon d'Or, but snubbed Paris Saint-Germain superstar Lionel Messi.
A lot of people have Lionel Messi as the favourite to collect his seventh Ballon d'Or crown this year, while there have also been shouts for Jorginho.
Ronaldo, who is a two-time Ballon d'Or winner, believes Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema should win the prestigous accolade this year.
"Without a doubt, my candidate for the Ballon d'Or is Benzema. The best striker, brutal level for 10 years and champion above all. Don't you think?"
Benzema also that winning the Ballon d'Or is one of his ambitions after helping France clinch their first Nations League title last week.
"It's a trophy that all the players want," Benzema told TVE.
"Ever since I was little, I have been thinking about winning that award. If I am in anyway close, then it is because of my teammates."
