A certain Portuguese club is considering renaming their stadium after Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and it's fabulous. Check it out!
Sporting Lisbon are reportedly thinking about renaming their stadium Estadio Cristiano Ronaldo in honour of their hero.
Ronaldo progressed through the youth system at the Lisbon club, spending six years with the Portuguese giants between 1998 and 2003 after joining them as a 14-year-old.
The forward eventually signed for Manchester United, where he gained instant stardom.
It would be a fitting tribute to the 34-year-old, who last night scored his 125th UEFA Champions League goal in his side's one-all draw with Ajax Amsterdam.
What do you think about Sporting's wonderful idea?
