The story
Footballer turned content creator, Lebohang "Cheezboy" Mokoena fondly remembered his former teammate, the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper, Senzo Meyiwa.
Meyiwa was well known for his charismatic personality by his teammates and the Happy People, as the Durban-born keeper constantly wore a bright smile on his face.
Mokoeana recently named Meyiwa as the craziest teammate he ever shared a changeroom with, speaking on a SoccerBeat podcast, Cheezboy stated that Nzori had "All the energy, for days!"
"The craziest teammate that I've ever had was the late Senzo Meyiwa. Why I say that? The guy was so bubbly, In training, he had all the energy, for days," recalled Cheezboy.
"When he got promoted [into the Pirates first team], he's like, 'you see now? I'm going to play with my role model, William Okpara.'
"He used to call himself William Okpara, so when he gets to training, when we're practicing penalties, you know what he would say? He would repeat, 'Not for me, not for my people, over the bar!' He would be psyching us up. But, he was fun. He was crazy," added Cheezboy on the late former Pirates captain.
