The 27-year-old looked confident in goal despite having lost his main man Erick Mathoho in front of him after just seven minutes on the clock.
Still, he couldn't help prevent all of SuperSport United's shots from going in, seeing him let in two goals from Aubrey Modiba and Bradley Grobler, and while he will be disappointed with the result, he was also left with two visible scars.
Khuzwayo took to Instagram to post several pictures of his upper thigh with two stud gashes, which occurred after a collision with the opposition.
