Cristiano Ronaldo, during his time at Manchester United, managed to wreck his Ferrari 599 GTB on his way to one of the Red Devils' training sessions.
"CR7" reportedly lost control of his car in a tunnel near Manchester Airport and was said to be driving at 300km/h.
Mario Balotelli also was involved in an accident during his time in England, crashing his customised Audi R8. Balotelli may have walked away without any injuries, but his car came off second best.
Cesc Fabregas, while with Arsenal, crashed his beastly Mercedes SL55 AMG into an Audi A3 on his way to a training session in London. With the car written off, he later came out and assured fans they had nothing to worry about.
Crashing in London appears to have been a pattern as Nicklas Bendtner also had a vehicle accident in the city. The man some call "Lord Bendtner" crashed his Aston Martin in 2009, on his way to training at Arsenal. In shock and badly bruised, then Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger decided to drop Bendtner for the club's next fixture.
Also in 2009, after a narrow 1-0 El Clasico defeat, Real Madrid's Karim Benzema totalled his yellow Lamborghini Gallardo, but was lucky enough to come away with no injuries.
Can you think of any other footballers who have been involved in accidents?
