The story
Five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has made his foray into the world of vlogging by officially started his own YouTube channel.
Ronaldo, the most-followed individual on social media with 917 million followers and widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, has become the fastest person to reach the 1 million subscribers milestone on YouTube.
Titled "UR," the channel will see the 39-year-old Al Nassr and the Portuguese national team skipper share insights on the beautiful game, as well as his interests in family, wellness, nutrition, preparation, recovery, education, and business.
As per Variety, Ronaldo's channel will also include conversations with various guests from a range of industries. Although Ronaldo is not the most followed person on YouTube, yet, that title currently belongs to MrBeast, who has 311 million subscribers.
However, Ronaldo's rise could be swift as it took him just 1 hour-and-a-half to reach a million subscribers after launching his channel today.
