The Cape Town City veteran has garnered so much respect from his colleagues that many often take to social media to post snaps when they manage to exchange jerseys with him, including Thabang Monare.
The 28-year-old, who won the league title with the Clever Boys last season, plays in a similar position to that of Modise, and it is only natural that he draws inspiration from the 34-year-old who has achieved so much in his career with Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Bafana Bafana.
Monare took to Instagram to post a picture of Modise's former yellow and green jersey, and he seemed overwhelmed with appreciation.
