The midseason transfer window is now officially in full swing as clubs begin laying the foundations to pursue players on their respective transfer wishlists, and it seems that one of Africa's biggest clubs, Wydad, is doing just that.
According to Anbaetv, the Red Castle are set to begin negotiations with Young Africans duo Clement Mzize and attacking midfielder Stephane Aziz Ki. Both players have been rumoured to be of interest to South African outfit Chiefs in the past.
Just prior to the new year, this publication revealed how the 20-year-old Tanzania international was viewed as a striker the Glamour Boys could successfully lure during this transfer window, while Nasreddine Nabi is also believed to be a massive admirer of his Burkina Faso international teammate.
However, if the Soweto giants are to complete the signings of the Yanga duo, they need to act fast as the Moroccan giants are poised to make their first move in hopes of bringing them to Casablanca. The record Botola Pro Inwi champions' interest in Mzize and Aziz Ki goes back as far as the offseason window.
