With rumours claiming that Percy Tau and Fagrie Lakay could be at Pyramids together next season, Al Ahly have reportedly clarified the links between their star winger and their rivals.

With the Witbank native looking increasingly likely to leave the Cairo International Stadium at the end of the season, the South African winger has been linked with several clubs.
Earlier this month, it was suggested that the likes of Zamalek and Saudi Pro League side Al Kholood were interested in the player, but now a new club is believed to be in the running to sign the 30-year-old in Pyramids.
Last season's Egyptian Cup winners have been gradually growing in stature within Egypt, finishing as runners-up in the Egyptian Premier League in the last three campaigns, edging closer to what has so far been an elusive maiden title.
Tau could help them take that major step, having already won the nation's top division twice, and it has been speculated that the Cairo-based side have made an inquiry about the forward.
However, according to Al Masry Al Youm, the Club of the Century have received no formal or informal interest from their fellow Cairo club in signing the player during the looming transfer window.

The same report claims that the record African champions are more than willing to part ways with the 46-capped international as soon as January, provided they receive an offer that is suitable for both the club and the player.
