The former Mamelodi Sundowns forward was on hand to snap the Red Castle's two-game losing streak as he latched onto a Mouad Enzo cross to put the ball into the back of the net in the 88th minute.

The 23-year-old is currently with the three-time African champions on loan from the Major League Soccer franchise Toronto FC and has played six times for his temporary club, being used as a substitute in Wydad's last two league outings.

Against the team from the Moroccan capital, he was once again utilised from the bench but this time made a significant impact, as 30 minutes after his introduction, the Bafana Bafana representative scored his first goal for the club.

It was an occasion of firsts for Wydad, as the win at the Stade El Bachir marked their first away victory in the Botola Pro Inwi this campaign. The win sees Rulani Mokwena's charges climb all the way to fourth place, four points behind leaders RS Berkane.

Next up for the South African tactician and his team is a clash against Ittihad Tanger in the league, but he will be hoping he fares better than Faouzi Benzarti did last season, as they lost 2-0 to them at home.
