Moroccan Giants 'Make' Final Decision On Nabi Replacement

Moroccan giants FAR Rabat have reportedly reached an agreement with the manager who will be the successor to Kaizer Chiefs-bound Nasreddine Nabi.

The Tunisian's arrival at Naturena now seems imminent, and his current employers have wasted no time in finding his replacement.

According to Le360 Sport, the Botola Pro Inwi runners-up have decided that Frenchman Julien Chevalier will be their new manager, and have reached an agreement with the 43-year-old on a two-year deal.

The Moulins native has spent the past five years coaching Ivorian juggernauts ASEC Mimosas, and led them to the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League last season, their best performance in the competition since they made it to the final four in the 2005/06 season.

Chevalier himself was believed to be in contention to become the new Chiefs manager, but the DStv Premiership side has seemingly opted to go with Nabi, and the Frenchman now looks set to replace the north African tactician in the Moroccan capital.

Should it be confirmed that he is FAR's next manager, the former Togo national team assistant coach will have a tough task on his hands trying to topple league champions Raja Club Athletic following their unbeaten season in the Moroccan top flight.
