The story
2018 FIFA World Cup winner, Paul Pogba joined forces with his former Manchester United teammate and close friend, Eric Bailly, for humanitarian work in the latter's home country, the Ivory Coast.
Pogba was seen cheerfully giving back to those in need alongside Bailly, with the two touring the Ivorian's hometown to hand out food parcels and engage with fans.
The long-limbed French midfielder enjoys a trip to Africa every now and then. Before the Africa Cup of Nations, he visited his motherland of Equatorial Guinea, to help send off the West African side to the AFCON showpiece in Ivory Coast.
It's been a rather torrid time for Pogba since leaving the reds in 2022. Along with his persistent injury woes, Pogba, who is currently on the books at Juventus, is in the first few months of a four-year ban after testing positive for a banned substance last year.
The 31-year-old's link up with Bailly has certainly given him a bit of a boost:
"Special moment in Ivory Coast with my brother @ericbailly24. Going to see the needy and his childhood neighbourhood really gave me joy in my heart. Thank you for this beautiful day," wrote Pogba on Instagram.

The duo shared plenty of great times while at the Red Devils under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
They built a bromance that was well documented on social media, with a host of funny clips of the duo having fun at Man United's Carrington training base.
Here's a look at some of their best off-field banter moments:
