Reports in England claim Manchester United have decided against renewing Benni McCarthy's contract after his two years at the club.

According to the Mirror, the attacking coach is reportedly set to bid farewell to Old Trafford after not being offered a new deal, with his current contract ending in June.
McCarthy joined Erik ten Hag's staff in 2022 and has been described as "a popular figure" with the players.
The publication reports Ten Hag, whose own job currently hangs in the balance, will see "one of his trusted custodians" leave.
As it stands, new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has not proposed a renewal for the former Cape Town City head coach.
McCarthy did recently discuss the idea of getting back into management in a conversation with Robert Marawa, suggesting he would struggle to turn down an approach from Kaizer Chiefs.
"If the opportunity arises to coach Kaizer Chiefs, obviously you will have to sit down and think about it," he said.
"Like I said, you don't say no to an institution."

McCarthy was seen enjoying United's FA Cup final celebrations following their 2-1 win over Manchester City this past weekend at Wembley Stadium.
