The story

It's no secret that Andile Dlamini sings almost as well as she keeps clean sheets for Mamelodi Sundowns and Banyana Banyana, when called upon.

Her soothing voice is enough to put her teammates at ease before going to battle, as seen in the FIFA Women's World Cup last year whenever Banyana would make their joyous stadium arrival before a game.

Dlamini shocked judges and the audience when she was revealed in season 2 of The Masked Singer South Africa, where she covered Justin Bieber's 2015 bop "Sorry".

She graced The Masked Singer SA stage dressed as "the Rainbow" and almost effortlessly danced and sang like a seasoned popstar.

"A beautiful journey came to an end. Extremely grateful to have been a part of this wonderful show @maskedsingerza. Thank you for the experience, I appreciate [it]. Nothing beats being appreciated by your own," wrote Dlamini.

The wins keep coming for the recently-crowned COSAFA Women's Goalkeeper of the Year and was shown plenty of support by the legends Amanda Dlamini, Teko Modise and her teammate, Kaylin Swart.

"Keep doing dope stuff," wrote Modise; while Dlamini commented: Yazi ini wena!! May God keep providing these platforms for you." Dlamini also tagged DJ Zinhle in the comments, saying that she's "ready", perhaps hinting that she's ready to collaborate with the "Wena" hitmaker on a song.
