Interest in Orlando Pirates' Fortune Makaringe is likely to be revisited as most clubs are making plans for next season and beyond.

Makaringe has had an inconsistent season as he has been in and out of coach Jose Riveiro's matchday squads.

The midfielder has made 10 appearances with only seven starts in the league and has been out of the match day squads in the last six matches.

Sekhukhune United has been interested in the 30-year-old, as previously reported by the Siya crew.

Indications are that Sekhukhune have Jamie Webber attracting interest, with Cape Town City believed to be one of the clubs monitoring his progress after he scored four goals plus four assists in 17 matches this season.

Should Babina Noko decide to sell, as Webber is still contracted to them for another year, Makaringe is one of the players the club might look to sign as a replacement, according to sources.

"Jamie Webber is a good player who has done well for Sekhukhune United. It's true that there's interest in his services although the club hasn't said anything about any plans to sell him," said the source.

"But true, Makaringe is one of the players that the club has been monitoring and he would be considered as a replacement," the source said.
