There has been a lot of guesswork with regards to Mosimane's next move.
The coach has been a free agent since parting ways with Al Wahda in October last year and it is safe to say that he has not been short of options.
There is a lingering hope that Mosimane would select the local option and awaken the sleeping giant that is Kaizer Chiefs, the coach has also spoken glowingly about the Glamour Boys in recent times.
But Mosimane could get a second swing at the Saudi Pro League.
Having promoted Al Ahli Jeddah to the top flight, Mosimane missed out on the opportunity to sit in the dugout after the club opted not to continue with his services, although it appears that the door is not completely closed.
The latest reports coming out of Saudi Arabia is that struggling Abha Club are looking to the 59-year-old to come to their rescue.
Currently in 19th position, the club have won just four of their 19 matches this season and are in desperate need of a resuscitation.
Mosimane has mentioned that he is likely to decide his future in January, although it remains to be seen whether the Abha project is one that will entice the serial-winning coach.
