The Czech Republic are in a favourable position heading into the final stretch of 2024 UEFA European Championship qualification.
Their 1-1 draw with Poland on Friday, coupled with the fact that Albania and Moldova also drew this past weekend, means the Czechs will qualify for the continental showpiece at the end of the season should they avoid defeat against Moldova on Monday night.
However, it seems that some of their players took the relatively calm situation around their qualification to another level as a few of the team's contingent were seen on a night out on the weekend.
Upon returning to their homeland from Warsaw, the trio of Jan Kuchta, Jakub Brabec and West Ham United fullback Vladimir Coufal were spotted at a well-known club in the city of Olomouc.
The players are said to have stayed there until the early hours of the morning in an incident that has angered the Czech Football Association, with the institution consequently deciding to punish them by sending the players home with immediate effect.

An official statement published by the Czech FA read: "Three players fundamentally violated the internal rules of the national team on Saturday night. Jakub Brabec, Vladimir Coufal and Jan Kuchta have left the national team meeting with immediate effect by the decision of the management."
