There is an update regarding the sentencing of Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana star Thembinkosi Lorch in relation to his court matter.
Lorch was found guilty in June this year of assaulting his former girlfriend Fundiswa Nokuphiwa Mathithibala in 2020.

Mathithibala laid a complaint with the Midrand Police in September 2020 and the football star was arrested and later released on a R2000 bail.
After being found guilty, it was announced that the attack-minded player would be set for sentencing today (July 28) but the Randburg Magistrate's Court has since postponed it to September 4, as per what transpired this morning.
As the court heard, the footballer's defence requested to be given some time for pre-sentencing arguments.
Lorch has been an integral part of the Buccaneers' preparations for the new season as he remains in the plans for coach Jose Riveiro for the DStv Premiership and CAF Champions League.
