With a few new signings gained and some players returning from their loan spells from various teams, Orlando Pirates are set to send one of their development products out on loan once again.
The squad has close to 40 players who are competing for places in the first team and to be registered for the forthcoming 2023/24 season. So, naturally, many will be disappointed to be cut out of that list.

Siya sources at the club have indicated that one of those players out could be young defender Thabiso Sesane. The source added that a few clubs have already shown interest in the Pirates development product who was out on loan last season at All Stars where he did very well.
"Yes, Chippa United asked for either him or Sandile Mthethwa but they were told Mthethwa is out of bounds," the source told the Siya crew.
"But there are other teams in the First Division (Motsepe Foundation Championship) who have also shown interest. All Stars wanted to keep him but things changed when they sold their status to Black Leopards.
"Yes, the team wants to loan him out so that he can have more game time. The competition for the central defensive position or right back where he can play is very tight.
"He is good but he needs to gain experience. That's why they want to loan him out maybe for just one last time," the source observed.
Since being promoted from their development team in 2020, the 23-year-old has been loaned out twice.
First in 2021, he played for Jomo Cosmos and then last season he was at All Stars where he featured in 29 league games and two Nedbank Cup matches.
Efforts to get a comment from Pirates were unsuccessful at the time of preparing this story.
