Official: Another Top Star Makes Big-Money Saudi Move

Yet another high-profile footballer has completed a big-money move to Saudi Arabia, where he will reportedly earn more than five times his previous salary.

Saudi giants Al Ittihad have confirmed the arrival of France international N'Golo Kante ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

The 32-year-old follows Karim Benzema in joining this past season's Saudi Pro League winners, committing to a three-year deal in the Middle East.

Kante will reportedly be paid a staggering €100 million (R2 billion) at Al Ittihad, after earning just €17 million (R349 million) annually at Chelsea.

It was reported that the ex-Leicester City midfielder had previously been intent on extending his stay at the Blues before being blown away by his new club's lucrative proposal.
