Pitso Mosimane's Al Ahli have been linked with a move for a Premier League superstar, who recently enjoyed a productive stint at Barcelona.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Mosimane's Al Ahli are one of two Saudi clubs that have enquired about Chelsea forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon forward, who recently came out of international retirement, has endured a difficult time at the Blues since his arrival last year and is said to be destined to leave the club in the coming window.
Aubameyang, 33, still has a year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, but is tipped to find a new club ahead of the 2023/24 campaign after playing just 961 minutes of football in all competitions for the London-based giants.
It should be noted, however, that the ex-Arsenal captain is believed to have turned down a switch to MLS side Los Angeles FC as he wanted to continue plying his trade in Europe.
He has also, in recent months, been linked with a return to Barcelona, for whom he scored 13 goals in his six-month stay in 2022, although reports claim he is far from a priority for Blaugrana manager Xavi Hernandez and his coaching staff.

Al Ahli won promotion to the Saudi Pro League in Mosimane's first season in charge, after winning 21 of their 34 matches this season.
