According to Sport, the Blaugrana have successfully agreed a deal that will see them lure Ilkay Gundogan away from the Etihad Stadium.
The Germany international is currently still in the hunt to complete a historic treble with the Citizens, which is said to be the reason the Catalan giants are waiting to sign the deal and make the announcement official.
Barcelona are believed to have decided that the 33-year-old is the midfielder they will bring in on a free transfer, with it said he will sign a contract that is "harmonious" with the club's finances.

The reported three-year contract took some time to be agreed upon, with the Gelsenkirchen native said to have asked for a lucrative deal in the initial stages of negotiations, but in the end, the prolific midfielder has seemingly settled on Barca's latest offer.
The same report claims that City are still pushing to retain the playmaker's services, even offering him improved terms on their first attempt to re-sign him, but after seven years with the Citizens, Gundogan is seemingly ready to call time on his career with Pep Guardiola's side.
