Ngcobo Loses Heavily To SA Gamer In Chiefs FIFA Tournament

Kaizer Chiefs youngster Nkosingiphile Ngcobo lost heavily to Zaid April in the TTGE Virtual Chiefs Challenge grand finale.

Amakhosi and Toyota's Virtual Chiefs Challenge saw one of the best FIFA gamers in the country taking on Nkosingiphile 'Mshini' Ngcobo in the final.

What's the story?

The Virtual Chiefs Challenge by Kaizer Chiefs and the Toyota Gaming Engine brought together some of the country's most talented FIFA gamers for what's been an intense e sports competition.

Goliath Gaming star Zaid April took on Amakhosi's Nkosingiphile Ngcobo in the grand final for the chance to claim the hefty prize money.

Let's check out who became the Ultimate Chief of all Chiefs. 

Ngcobo vs April 

The grand finale highlights were posted on social media by The Toyota Gaming Engine, where April was driven to Naturena to battle it out against the Glamour Boys' young midfielder, Ngcobo.

April, who represents South Africa and local esports giants Goliath Gaming, cruised his way through to become the Virtual Chief Champion. 

The young pro gamer took on the Amakhosi Champion, Ngcobo, who outlasted teammates Khama Billiat and Itumeleng Khune to reach the grand finale.

The battle was witnessed by Bruce Bvuma, who welcomed April to the Kaizer Chiefs Village in Naturena. Bvuma also witnessed his young teammate getting massacred by the more seasoned FIFA player, with Ngcobo going down 6-1 to April.

April not clinched the Ultimate Chief of all Chiefs title, but also took home the R15 000 prize pool.
