Players Left Confused By Rooney's 'Tiny Penis' Speech

England and Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney reportedly left his DC United squad astonished when he tried to motivate his players with a story about his "tiny penis".

Man Utd Price Tag Revealed? Glazers Seeking World-Record Fee

Following a string of poor results upon returning to his former side, as a manager this time, Rooney is said to have attempted to motivate his players with what he thought was a heartfelt speech but it seems it did more harm than good for the squad.

The ex-United forward is believed to have tried using a story about his apparent small manhood as an analogy for persisting through bad times, but according to The Sun, Rooney's monologue had an adverse effect on the Major League Soccer side's players.

A source said: "It was very funny and he hoped using personal references would make it look like the speech was from the heart.

"But the majority of his side were left bemused and struggled to understand what his sex life and size of his manhood had anything to do with what happens on the pitch.

"A few of the young lads were horrified.

"They don't share the same British sense of humour."

After leaving the managerial hot seat at Derby County in January 2021  a spell plagued by background problems beyond his control at the then-Championship club – things did not get any easier for England's all-time top goalscorer once he crossed the Atlantic Ocean.

Of the 14 DC United games he has taken charge of, Rooney has only won two matches, losing a resounding nine times.
