South African businessman and politician, Tokyo Sexwale, has withdrawn from the race to become the president of FIFA.

Sexwale and the other candidates are in Zurich for the FIFA presidential election. In a surprising turn of events, as the next FIFA president is expected to be announced later today, Sexwale announced that he is no longer continuing with the race for the top job at football's governing body.
"My candidacy ends today, I end my participation, I leave you four candidates...it's your problem now," stated Sexwale.

SAFA's CEO Dennis Mumble, as well as NEC member Anastacia Tsichlas are some of the delegates in attendance in Zurich.
