Insiders close to Orlando Pirates have indicated that the team is monitoring a young midfielder who once spent time training with the club in 2023.

The sources added that the Buccaneers are believed to be back on the radar for Highlanders FC winger Prince Ndlovu who had previously attracted interest from Europe as well.
"He trained with Pirates in March 2023 and and at that time he was only 16-years-old. He was preparing to go to Europe but things didn't work out. It's believed that since then Pirates scouts have apparently been monitoring him and now they are willing to give him a chance at the team. They have kept tabs on him and they are impressed by his progress at Highlanders FC in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe," the source told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile a second insider stated that the teenage winger has been included in the Zimbabwe national team which will compete in the COSAFA Cup in South Africa.
"Pirates will have the chance to continue monitoring him when he plays for the Zimbabwe national team at the COSAFA Cup. Yes, it's believed that the scouts and recruiters are happy and this will give them a first-hand chance to see him in action before they could finalise anything," the second source told the Siya crew.
The 18-year-old has been tipped as the next Peter Ndlovu in Zimbabwe because of his talent and sharing the same surname.
Soccer Laduma contacted Pirates for comment on the Ndlovu interest but the club had not responded by the time this report was published.
