The race for the Absa Premiership Golden Boot is heating up with Gabadinho Mhango at risk of losing his number one spot.
Mhango has been leading the race at the top for quite some time now, having scored 14 league goals so far. However, after failing to find the back of the net in Orlando Pirates' past three league encounters, Bradley Grobler, Bonginkosi Ntuli along with Peter Shalulile has had a chance to close the gap.

Meanwhile following closely with 11 goals is Kazier Chiefs' Samir Nurkovic and Golden Arrows' Knox Mutizwa.
Joint on third position is Cape Town City's Kermit Erasmus, who is currently out injured, with nine goals and Mamelodi Sundowns' Themba Zwane with eight goals.
Also worth a mention is Bloemfontein Celtic's Ndumiso Mabena, Chiefs' Leonard Castro and Stellenbosch FC's Waseem Isaacs all on seven goals each.
