Bafana Bafana take on World Champions Spain on Tuesday night in an International friendly at the FNB Stadium.

This will be the fourth time in their history that South Africa takes on Spain in an International fixture, with Spain having won all three previous encounters

The last time they met was in the third/fourth play-off at the 2009 Confederations Cup, where Spain won the match 3-2 in extra-time, after the scores were locked at 2-2 after 90 minutes.

Spain had beaten Bafana 2-0 earlier in the competition.

The other meeting was in the group stages at the 2002 World Cup where Spain also ran out 3-2 winners.
