Thanda Royal Zulu head coach, Roger Sikhakhane, whose team has just reached the lucrative PSL with three games to go, is proud of his achievement.
Amabhubhesi grabbed 56 points from 27 games after easily outwitting all NFD opposition by scoring 46 goals, while only conceding a mere 21.

"It's a good feeling and about time that Thanda won the league," he told Soccer Laduma. "The players did a good job. We needed to do the business by getting automatic promotion. This way is much better otherwise you're playing a dice going through the playoffs."
This is the second time in which the 41-year-old managed to promote a side into the top flight.
"I was Vladislav Heric's assistant when Chippa United won promotion," he concluded.
Thanda last slipped out of the PSL in 2008/09 after going down 3-0 to Mpumalanga Black Aces in the playoffs and have subsequently failed twice to make it back in the same competition.
