Three young South African midfielders from the Free State are on their way to England after qualifying for the final round of the Bolton Wanderers International Soccer School trials.
Tyrone Mondi (16), Sesing Tlotliso (17) and Moses Ntsoeleng (17) have already impressed in two of BWISS's scouting rounds and are now through to the last stage.
The players' representative, Rasthoem Simons of Simsport International, has spoken of his pride at the youngsters' achievements.
He said, "This year we have three finalists and it shows that the Free State province is blessed with an enormous amount of natural football talent. The good progress made by the boys puts the Free State on the world map of football."
In 2012's BWISS trials, another Free State youngster, in Eric Mngomezulu, made it to the trial finals in England and he is now attending Grade 12 at Harmony High School in Virginia.
Bolton play their football in England's second tier, the Championship, but will be hoping for a return to the Premier League soon.
