Jermaine George, who is a product of the Old Mutual Football Academy, has officially started training with Turkish giants, Galatasaray.
It was reported in last week's edition of Soccer Laduma that George was set to jet out to Turkey, where he was invited back to train with the team.

Now, reports in Turkey, particularly, CNNTURK.com confirmed the arrival of the player at the club, stating that he will return to South Africa after the training session. Due to the player being a minor, he is unable to sign a professional contract while under the age of 18 and will have to wait until he reaches the age of majority.
CNNTURK.com stated; "According to Gökay Akpinar, who closely follows the young footballers in Florya, Galatasaray brought back the 17-year-old South African footballer Jermaine George, whom he had tried twice in May and September, to Istanbul.
"Old Mutual Football, according to Academy's knowledge, the player who will not be able to transfer overseas under the age of 18 (and) will return to his country after 3 weeks of training." (loosely translated from Turkish).
