Today Owen da Gama announced his first 23-man squad for South Africa's U23s, with them playing their first game later this week against Palestine.
The squad consists mainly of players from club academies, with only a handful of them having had previous first team experience in South African football.

The players will travel to Palestine on Tuesday evening ahead of the game, and will be looking to make sure they prepare properly for the upcoming All Africa Games and Olympics qualifiers.
