Orlando Pirates are believed to have set their sights on Royal Eagles' Raymond Monama, with a view to potentially lure him to the club.

According to sources close to the Seshego-born player, Monama's impressive performances for Eagles so far this season have caught the attention of Bucs, with indications that the players' high work-rate has prompted the club to take note of his progress.
"Orlando Pirates is showing interest in Raymond Monama. The player is doing well for himself at Royal Eagles this season. There are a few other teams that are showing interest in him. Bloemfontein Celtic is one of them. The player is keen to get a chance to play in the PSL again in his career," a source told the Siya crew.
Monama has scored eight goals so far in the 2016/17 National First Division campaign. The former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder's contract with Eagles will come to an end in June next year, as confirmed by the source close to the player.
