Word reaching the Siya crew is that Nhlakanipho Ntuli has not yet started training with his new Orlando Pirates teammates. Ntuli recently signed a short-term contract with Pirates.
According to Siya sources close to Pirates, Ntuli was supposed to have joined the Pirates players who had been left behind from the squad that travelled to Egypt to play Zamalek in the CAF Champions League, but the young midfielder decided to wait for the team to return before starting his new life at Bucs.
Alban Newman of Prosport International, the company that represents the 17-year-old midfielder, confirmed to the Siya crew that Ntuli will only start training this week.
"There's no story to tell except to say we made an arrangement for Ntuli to start training with Pirates when they return from Egypt. He'll probably start training with the rest of the team tomorrow (Wednesday)," said Newman.
Ntuli is due to join Dutch Eredivisie club FC Twente after the completion of his short Bucs contract. The young midfielder has already agreed on a five-year contract with the Dutch outfit.
